While I have been down here I have realized how privilege I am with almost everything I have. Land resources, computers, food access, materialism Cleanliness. But I have also realized that with those privileges usually come a lot of stress. While I have been down here the people around me are happy, unworried and more relaxed, which has created me to live more stress free and more relaxed myself. There also is less of a rush here if you are late its not a problem. I am very comfortable down here and have meet a lot of wonderful people. Every day I go to our group meeting with the students to discuss our thoughts and different experiences at 10am. I also go to my spanish conversation partner (maria) around 4pm. the rest of the day we can explore the Ejido village and play soccer with the kids. I have had delectable food for every meal and there is almost always beans and tortia's used in the meals. My host mom will make 60-80 tortia's in the morning to last the whole day with all the meals, I have been eating some meat because i do not want to be a hassle and it is quite good , but my stomach did not appreciate it. Even being healtly is privilege. Well I will have a slide show when I get back on march 12, best of wishes to all.
